The AFDM512 series extends the AFDM511 platform with longer working distance options while retaining the Sony IMX415 4K STARVIS sensor and motorized continuous zoom architecture. It is optimized for inspecting large samples or work areas that demand additional clearance, and offers an 18× motorized zoom lens with two standard configurations: AFDM512A (standard 250 mm, range 205–255 mm) and AFDM512B (standard 640 mm, range 400–670 mm).
Fields of view span wide ranges: AFDM512A delivers 255 × 145 mm at low magnification and 14.2 × 8.0 mm at high magnification; AFDM512B covers 655.8 × 368.9 mm at low magnification and 36.4 × 20.5 mm at high magnification. Low magnification supports fast positioning, while high magnification captures microscopic detail with efficiency.
The system outputs HDMI 2.0 4K @ 60 fps (low latency) and USB 3.0/Ethernet up to 4K @ 30 fps. XCamView handles auto-focus, measurement, image stitching and (real-time) depth fusion, while supporting USB voice control modules and automatic upload of captured files. Optional magnetic LED ring lights mount to the head with camera-side brightness control, and default calibration data streamlines precision measurement.
