In-depth Introduction

The TopuOptics XCAMTOP4K series camera is a standalone 4K HDMI microscope camera supporting multiple interface outputs. With built-in XCamView, simply connect an HDMI monitor and USB mouse to complete observation, photography, recording, and measurement; it can also connect via USB Video, LAN, or Wi-Fi (AP/STA) to computers/mobile devices, conveniently building interactive teaching or remote collaboration systems for microscopy, compatible with stereo microscopes, biological microscopes, and other C-mount optical systems.

The series employs Sony Exmor/Starvis (including Starvis 2) back-illuminated CMOS sensors, supporting 4K/1080p HDMI adaptive output, and provides sharpening, 3D noise reduction, ROI white balance, Gamma, 50/60 Hz anti-flicker and other ISP adjustments, balancing high image quality with stable real-time preview.

Technical Features

  • Multi-interface Output and Network Collaboration: HDMI (4K/1080p adaptive), USB Video (MJPEG), LAN/Wi-Fi (H.264, AP/STA) multiple selectable channels, covering local display, computer capture, and networking applications
  • High-performance Imaging and Hardware Processing: Sony Starvis/Starvis 2 sensor, built-in 3D noise reduction, sharpening, Gamma, contrast/saturation and 50/60 Hz anti-flicker
  • Built-in XCamView Control: Direct mouse control, provides calibration/measurement, auto edge detection, graphic overlay, browsing and comparison, playback tools, multi-language interface
  • Convenient Storage and Playback: SD card or USB drive saves images (JPEG/TIFF) and videos (MP4, H.264), supports in-camera browsing and playback
  • Cross-platform Compatibility and Extension: Compatible with ToupView/ToupLite (Windows/macOS/Linux) and ToupView App (iOS/Android), provides multi-platform SDK for secondary development
