Product Introduction

The IUC-AFU-EF series addresses high-resolution industrial and research scenarios requiring rapid, stable focusing, featuring APS-C and full frame (35 mm) large-format CMOS sensors with resolutions ranging from 26–60 MP. Equipped with electronic EF mount, the cameras directly control Canon EF/EF-S lens autofocus and electronic aperture, significantly simplifying system integration and enhancing focusing efficiency for multi-magnification and long working distance applications.

For connectivity, the series offers USB3.0 and 10GigE (model-dependent) high-speed data interfaces, supporting multi-bit depth output and internal buffering to meet high-bandwidth and long-distance acquisition requirements. The cameras support free-running, software/hardware triggering, and multi-camera synchronization, with optically isolated I/O for trigger/strobe control and programmable GPIO, facilitating coordination with light sources, motion platforms, and other peripherals.

Complete software ecosystem includes bundled ToupView and cross-platform SDK (Windows / Linux / macOS; C/C++/C#/Python, etc.), compatible with DirectShow / TWAIN, suitable for custom development and rapid deployment of integrated systems and OEM solutions.

The IUC-AFU-EF Series is ToupTek’s full-frame autofocus industrial camera line, spanning 26–60 MP for scientific inspection, high-resolution industrial imaging, and dynamic scene capture. It uses high-performance BSI CMOS sensors such as Sony IMX571 and IMX455, supports high-speed USB3.0, and integrates autofocus with Canon EF-mount lenses to deliver a complete, flexible optical solution for precision imaging.

Full-frame high-pixel imaging

Built on APS-C (1.8\") and full-frame (2.7\") sensors, delivering up to 60 MP for precision inspection and wide-area imaging. The 3.76 µm pixel size balances fine detail with low-light sensitivity. Low dark current (down to 0.04 mV@1/30s) suits long exposures and high-contrast scenes. Supports 8-bit, 12-bit, and 16-bit output for research and industrial analysis.

BSI CMOS advantages

IMX571 and IMX455 offer high quantum efficiency and low noise for quality imaging in low light. The BSI design boosts photon conversion efficiency, capturing more light under the same illumination to improve SNR. Achieves up to 6.1 fps @ 9568×6380 (16-bit full resolution) and up to 191 fps @ 1040×706 in ROI mode.

Smart autofocus system

EF-mount autofocus suits tasks requiring frequent focal changes. Compatible with Canon EF lenses for fast and accurate focusing. Exposure from 150 µs to 15 s, supporting free-run, software trigger, and hardware trigger modes for varied applications.

Multi-level binning and ROI

Supports 1×1, 2×2, 3×3, 9×9 binning and ROI to adjust resolution/frame rate for a balance of sensitivity and speed. High-speed USB3.0 with single-cable power/data simplifies wiring. Power consumption under 5 W with opto-isolated I/O for easy integration.

Industrial reliability and platform support

Full-metal build, low power, operating range -10 to +50 °C for long-term stability. Compatible with Windows, Linux, macOS, Android; SDKs support C/C++, C#/VB.NET, Python, Java, and more. CNC metal housing ensures durability in demanding industrial environments.
